Chunky Grilled Guacamole


The buttery texture of the avocado comes alive in this simple guacamole

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Makes: 24 servings (2 tablespoons each)

Ingredients


    PAM® for Grilling Spray
    large ripe avocados, sliced in half, seed removed
    can (10 ounces) RoTel® Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, drained
    green onions, chopped
    1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
     Corn tortilla chips

Directions


  1. Spray grate of outdoor grill and utensils with PAM®for Grilling Spray. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. Grill avocados, cut side down, 5 minutes or until browned. Cool; remove from skin and coarsely chop.
  3. Combine chopped avocado with tomatoes, green onion, cilantro, garlic salt and cumin in small bowl. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.
