Grilled Tomato Salsa


Different colored tomatoes add to the beauty and taste of this easy grilled salsa

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Makes: 24 servings (2 tablespoons each)

Ingredients


    PAM® for Grilling Spray
    pounds assorted tomatoes (red, yellow, orange) cut in half
    large jalapeno, cut in half lengthwise
    green onions, chopped
    1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    teaspoon garlic salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
     Corn tortilla chips

Directions


  1. Spray grate of outdoor grill and utensils with PAM®for Grilling Spray. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. Spray tomatoes and jalapeno with cooking spray. Grill, cut side down until skin is slightly blackened, about 5 minutes, turning halfway through. Remove from grill; cool. Chop and toss with green onion, cilantro, garlic salt and cumin in small bowl.
  3. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.
 

Tips


  • Add your own special ingredients like chopped red onion, black beans and/or grilled corn kernels
